Mrs. Anna E. Hare, of 112 east Vine street, passed away this morning, after a short illness. For a number of months her strength had been steadily declining, causing her friends to feel that her life would not be long among them. A few weeks ago she suffered a severe attack, from the sufferings of which she was released this morning.

Anna E. Cochrene was born May 23, 1839, at Indiana, PA. In 1862 she was married to Mr. F. N. Hare, of Greensburg, Westmoreland County, PA. Mr. and Mrs. Hare moved to Lima eleven years ago this month. In early life Mrs. Hare showed marked literary talent, which brought her into some prominence in magazine and newspaper circles. Since her marriage she had been a consistent member of the Methodist denomination. Some nine years ago an attack of paralysis left her mind impaired and certain faculties were not retained to the time of her death. Her husband and six children survuve her. Mrs. Cloyd Fritz, Mrs. Edwin Powell, Mr. Paul and Miss Katherine Hare, reside in Lima. A son, Maurice Hare, resides in Petoskey, Mich., and Charles Hare,in Toledo.

The funeral will be private, intimate friends of the family only being invited. It will take place at 3:30 to-morrow afternoon, from the residence of Mrs. Cloyd Fritz, with whom the deceased made her home.
