GLOSTER -- Services for Otto Freeman, 75, of Gloster, will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Julian Burt officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be at Brown Funeral Home of Gloster from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Freeman was born May 25, 1907. He died at his residence Sunday. He was the son of the late Isaiah Freeman and Susie Temple Freeman. He was a farmer and a carpenter.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Freeman; two sons, Vardaman Freeman of Natchez and Rance Freeman of McComb; two daughters, Mrs. Elmese Blalock of Jackson and Mrs. Linnette Whittington of Gloster; three brothers, Smiley Freeman of Memphis, Eldon Freeman of Gulfport and Russell Freeman of Baker, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Eunice Freeman of Gloster and Mrs. Vena Walker of Sacramento, Calif.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Clayton, Bill, Carey, and Burley Freeman.

Pallbearers will be John McThaes, Dale Williams, Mozell Bateman, David Jackson, Leo Hollingsworth, John Brown.

Honorary pallbearers will be Carl Rollins, Brit Reeves, Albert Case, Jerry Corban, Shelby Price and Hob Brumfield.

Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
