Surviving are four children, Staney (Janice0 Porter; Richard Porter, Jr and companion, Sheila; Winfred Irvin Porter and Debra Porter; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-granchildren; and a sister, Marie Wells.
She wa preceded in death by her parents; her husband Oct. 28, 1978; seven brothers and four sisters.
