Mrs. Birdie Routt Bryant daughter of John L. Routt, first governor of Colorado, and widow of the late W.H. Bryant, city attorney during the Arnold administration, died at 2 o'clock this morning at St. Joseph hospital of peritonitis,
Mrs. W.H. Bryant Who Died This Morning following an operation Jun 4 for acute appendicitis. Her husband died a little more than a year ago at Baltimore, following an operation.
Mrs. Bryant was 48 years old. She was married in 1889. She was stricken with appendicitis suddenly ten days ago, and was rushed to the hospital and operated upon within a few hours. Dr. N.A. Thompson and W.H. Bergtold performed the operation. Peritonitis developed a week ago.
A son, two daughters and two sisters survive Mrs. Bryant. The son is Routt A. Bryant. of Denver; the daughters, Mrs. Minnie Bryant Hutchinson and Miss Dorthea Bryant of Denver; the sisters, Mrs. Frederick Butler of California and Mrs. Edward Welles Collins, Denver. There is one grandchild, William Hutchinson.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence, 613 Eleventh avenue. Interment will be at Riverside.
