CHESTER R. ROBERTS , 95, of Barry, died at 1:30 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 18, 1994) in the Barry Boarding Home. Mr. Roberts was born Nov. 29, 1898, in La Belle, Mo., a son of William Thomas and Anna Myers Roberts. He married Jessie Lane Jan. 2, 1924, in Mount Sterling. She survives. Survivors include three sons, Richard Roberts of Oldtown, Fla., Bruce Roberts of Quincy, and Verne Roberts of Jacksonville; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Barbara) Clary of Barry; four grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. Mr. Roberts also was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and one grandchild. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in the Kirgan Funeral Home in Barry. Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Barry Swimming Pool.
