Mrs. Mary Belle Ploger
Mrs. Mary Belle Ploger, 78, a resident of Pilot Grove more than 10 years, died at St. Joseph Hospital in Boonville at 2:50 p. m, Monday. She had been a patient there since she fell and suffered a broken hip about two months ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Pilot Grove Christian Church, of which she was a member. The Rev. Ira Griffis, Nelson, will conduct the rites. Burial will be in the Pilot Grove Cemetery. The body will remain at the Hays-Painter Funeral Chapel until 1 p. m. Saturday when it will be taken to the church.
Mrs. Ploger is survived by a son, H. G. Ploger, La Jolla, Calif.; a brother, Henry Ferguson, North Little Rock, Ark.; a half-brother, Wilburn Berkenbile of Montague, Tex.; and three sisters, Mrs. Lula Allen, Kansas City; Mrs. S. J. Williams, Corpus Christi, Tex., and Mrs. Sarah Clark. National City, Calif.
She was born Aug. 15, 1876, in Morgan County near Versailles, the daughter of Thomas and Sofia Bettshaver Ferguson, and was married to A. L. Ploger in Sedalia, May 27, 1895. Mr. Ploger died July 6. 1943.

Hip Is Injured
BOONVILLE, Dec 14- Mrs. A. L. Ploger of Pilot Grove is recovering at St. Joseph's hospital after a fall. She broke her left hip Sunday as she was going to church.
