Son of Max Bronstein & Dinah Bronstein who were both born in Russia.

Ben served as a Lieutenant Junior Grade, USS Jacob Jones (DD-130), U.S. Navy during World War II.

He resided in Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire prior to the war.

Ben was declared "Missing In Action" when the Jacob Jones, which was just off the Atlantic Coast, was struck by torpedoes from German submarine U-578 and sunk during the war. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
