Henry John Eernisse, 71, died early this morning at his home in Cedar Grove.
He was born in the Town of Lima, March 17, 1892, the son of Abraham and Henrietta Jentink Eernisse and was married in the Town of Sherman Dec. 31, 1913, to Gertrude Ingelse.
They operated a farm in the Town of Sherman. Later Mr. Eernisse worked for the Wisconsin Chair Co., at Port Washington, retiring 12 years ago.
Mrs. Eernisse died in 1959.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Owen (Marlice) Lubbers, Sheboygan, and Miss Lucille Eernisse, at home; a sister, Miss Nettie Eernisse, a resident of Sunny Ridge, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Krostag Funeral Home, Oostburg, with the Rev. L. M. Branning, pastor of the First Reformed Church, Cedar Grove, of which Mr. Eernisse was a member, officiating. Burial will be in Hingham Cemetery.
