Funeral services for E.A. "John" Constant, 75 of Conroe will be held on Saturday, March 3, 1984, at 10 a.m. in the Metcalf Guardian Chapel with the Rev. Garnet House officiating. Interment will be on Monday, March 5, 1984, at 10 a.m. in the Roselawn Cemetery in McAllen, Texas. Mr. Constant was born March 3, 1908 in Blackwell, Okla. and passed away in Conroe March1, 1984. Mr. Constant was a resident of Conroe for 23 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Conroe and the Conroe Masonic Lodge. Mr. Constant was employed by the Sun Oil Co. for 43 years and retired in 1969 as a District Superintendent. In lieu of usual remebrances, donations may be made to the Methodist Home for Children, 1111 Herring Ave., Waco, Texas 76708. Survivors: wife Deona Alexander Constant of Conroe; daughter, Lynne Carroll and husband Ed Cannan Jr. of Conroe; sister, Rose Maness of Tulsa, Okla; grandchildren, Melissa and John. Honorary pallbearers; Beloved friends and fellow employees of Sun Oil Co.
