Dorothy Mae Enfinger was born 3rd in line of a family of 7 children born to Jesse Henry Enfinger and Pearl (White) Enfinger.

At age 16, Dorothy married William Clarence Clark on Feb. 15, 1941. 1st photo on the right shows Dorothy at age 17.
By age 17 Dorothy had her first born son and named him Henry Clayton Clark, named after her husband's father. The following year at age 18 she had a daughter and named her Mary Alice. She later had another son and daughter, John Harvey and Carolyn. Dorothy and her 1st 3 children are pictured in the 2nd photo on our right. John Harvey Clark is the baby in this photo.

Her son John Harvey was accidently electrocuted on his Job when he was 19 years old. He was pronounced dead on arrival when taken to the hospital. John Harvey worked for a Power Company. Dorothy was heartbroken, but had to learn to go on with life. She never had much in material things, living in a 4 room house her entire marriage until her death. But she had the love of her family and friends and lived a contented life.

When her oldest son Henry married, she made the bride's dress for her future daughter in law, Juanita Summerall. One by one her 3 living children married and left home to make homes of their own.

MY MOTHER MY ANGEL

Once an Angel held my hand. She wiped away my tears and helped me understand, Our time on earth is brief, there's lessons to be learned. She loved us unconditional, always by our side. When no one else would listen, in her we could confide. With gentle words of wisom, she led us on our way, down the paths of righteousness if ever we did stray. She saw the light in everyone and gave with no regrets. always from her heart, let us not forget. Angels come in many forms, for me it is my mother. With Love I can't say in words there'll never be another. Everyday in my heart will ever remain, Everything she taught me, as I stroll down memory lane. Thank you God for giving me, the most priceless of all treasures. Help me Lord to keep alive her memory here forever. I pray that I can someday be, everything she hoped I would. That she's smiling down from Heaven, knowing she did good. God's called her to HIS Heavenly Home, part of HIS great plan. Although it may be hard, we all must understand, Faith is what is hoped for, things we cannot see. Heaven is promised to all of us if only we believe.
