Dan Petitt Dies at His Home in Picher
PICHER, May 29—Dan Petitt, 47 years old 533 South Cherokee street, died shortly before 9 o'clock yesterday morning. He had been in failing health the last two years. Petitt had worked in the mines here many years, being last employed as a mill man at the New Chicago mines.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Susie Petitt; four daughters, Mrs. Oma Vaughn and Mrs. Opal Brobust, of Picher; Helen and Faye Lucille, at home; three sons, Oren, Jackie and Howard, at home; one brohter, Newt Petitt of Mount Olive, Ark., and two sisters, Mrs. Ollie Sigler of Chicago and Mrs. Laura Moore of Baxter Springs.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Assembly of God church at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The Rev. Robert Nichols will officiate and burial will be in G. A. R. cemetery under the direction of the Todd Undertaking company.
