The attached obituary is one example of why I do not like obituaries attached to my memorials. John Frederick was never known as "French". This is an obvious error on the part of the newspaper and the reporter. His nickname and the only name he was known by was "Fred", this to differentiate him from his father. Why anyone would think he would be called French when he was strictly English is incomprehensible.
