Lorna May Hanson, 69, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 1994, in Klamath Falls.
Mrs. Hanson was born in Sandy to Edward and Verna Mitchell. She moved to Tulelake as a child and graduated from Tulelake High School in 1943. She was employed by First National Bank of Oregon in Portland for three years, returning to Tulelake, in the mid 1940s.
She married Raymond H. Hanson in 1949 in Healdsburg, Calif., and raised her family in Tulelake.
Mrs. Hanson enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening and painting, and entered many of her crafts in the Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair.
She was a member of Tulelake Community Presbyterian Church and Tulelake Chapter of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband, Tulelake; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Sheri Hanson, Klamath Falls, and Paul E. and Betty Hanson, Kennewick, Wash.; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Ray Ash, San Bernardino, Calif., and Kathryn and Dennis Crews, Willits, Calif.; brothers, Gene Mitchell, Crescent City, Calif., Lyle Mitchell, Lake Oswego, and Jim Waldrip, Santa Rosa, Calif.; sister, Ree giffey, Winnemucca, Nev.; and nine grandchildren.
