Robert Martin Hall, 85, of Sparta, passed away May 25, 2009, at Life Care Center of Sparta.
Mrs. Hall was born June 15, 1923, in White County, to George and Polly Selby Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thaddeus L. Hall Sr.; son, Thaddeus Hall Jr.; two sisters and their spouses, Kathryn and J.D. Randolph, Pauline and Ray Hyder; three brothers, Benny Martin, George Martin Jr., Gene Martin; and one brother-in-law, John Abell.
Survivors include her daughter, Selisa Haston and husband Richard, of Sparta; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hall, of Rickman; four grandchildren, Thaddeus Hall III and wife Teresa, Kendra Saunders and husband Jim, Amy Austin and husband Philip, Adam Haston and wife Victoria, all of Sparta; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Martin Abell, of Sparta; and sister-in-law, Nell Adcock Martin, of Sparta.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., May 27, 2009, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m., May 26, at the funeral home. Bro. Douglas Downs and Bro. Earl Alverson will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Adam Haston, Philip Austin, Jimmy Saunders, Marty Cantrell, Mike Abell, Micky Abell, Larry Martin and Troy Carter.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
