Mr. Charles Raymond "Buck" Beall, 81, of 20111 Fisher Ave., Poolesville, died Sunday, Aug. 21, in Poolesville. He was the husband of the late Lucie R. Beall.
Born in Poolesville, Mr. Beall was a son of the late Marion and Pearl Astlin Beall.
Mr. Beall was retired from the Montgomery County Roads Department and also served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a lifetime member of the Poolesville Presbyterian Church and a member of the American Legion.
Surviving are three sisters, Edna Poole of Taneytown, Nellie Rutter of Poolesville, and Anna Poole of Dickerson; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Beall was predeceased by a brother, Marion "Buster" Beall, and two sisters, Myrtle Remsburg and Clara Bready.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, at the Poolesville Presbyterian Church, Elgin Road, Poolesville. The Rev. Frances Wolf will officiate. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
