Mr. Thomas Lee King, 53, Rockville, died Thursday, April 24, at Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park.
He was the son of Mary M. Burriss, Boyds, and the late Thomas Matthew King.
Mr. King was born in Loudoun, Va., Oct 23,1932, and lived in Rockville most of his life.
He was a meter reader for the City of Rockville and was a member of the Knights of Pythias. He served in the U.S. Army between the Korean and Vietnamese conflicts.
Surviving besides his mother are one daughter, Debra Norton, Gaithersburg; one brother, John E. King Sr., Monrovia; four sisters, Christine Priebe of Laytonsville, Marie Boswell of Oxon Hill, Louise Beavers of Gaithersburg, and Carol Allnutt, Laytonsville; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at the Gartner Sandison Funeral Home, 316 E. Diamond Ave., Gaithersburg. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 28, at the funeral home. The Rev. Ronald Lee Hayes officiating. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
