Milward F. Moore, 83, of Poolesville, died early Tuesday at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring. He was a retired carpenter.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Maude Wilcox of Akron, Ohio; six brothers, Alvin of Poolesville, Herbert of Lexington, Ky., Felix of Tennessee, Henry and Jake of Ohio and Robert Moore of Calif.

Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home in Barnesville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Horace Dubois will officiate. Interment will be in the Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
