Mr. Charles Robert "Bob" Jones, 77, of 22101 Dickerson Road, Dickerson, died Wednesday, July 5, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

He was the husband of Reeva A. Jones.

Born Jan. 28,1918, in Dickerson, he was the son of the late Margie Brosius and Reginald B. Jones Sr.

He was a graduate of Poolesville High School and Eastern University School of Accounting. He was stationed in the Philippines during World War II. He retired as treasurer of Amco Products in Kensington.

An avid golfer, he was a member of Holly Hills Country Club. He also raised Angus cattle on his farm in Gerradstown, W.Va.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two daughters, Joan Temple Jones of Cumberland and Jan Alexandra Jones of Richmond, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Reginald B. Jones Jr., and a sister, Margaret Jones Kessler.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, July 7, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 18230 Barnesville Road, Barnesville. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kate Grissom Memorial Fund, c/o Farmers and Mechanics National Bank, P.O. Box 518, Frederick, Md. 21705-0518. These funds
will be designated for distribution to the Pediatric Oncology Center at Johns Hopkins Hospital and theOncology Department of Frederick Memorial Hospital. Donations also
may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 67, Barnesville, Md. 20838.
