DAVENPORT -- Services for Thomas Baney Jr., Davenport, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cunnick-Collins Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Thomas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, at Davenport Lutheran Home. He was born March 26, 1943, in Douglas County, Mo., the son of Thomas Albert and Nora Fern (Hall) Baney Sr. He married Nancy O'Haver on Feb. 5, 1967, in Walcott, Iowa. He retired in 1998 from Caterpillar Tractor Works after 30 years. Memorials may be made to the family. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Connie Kay Childers; and an infant brother.
