Norfolk - of 1351 Anne St, the widow of JOHN BOWERS and a native of St Albans, Vermont died Sunday, January 12, 1975 in her home. She was a member of Campostella Heights Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Survivors include 4 daughters, Mrs. IDA B. JONES and Mrs. BERNICE M. BOND of Norfolk, Mrs. HAROLDINE JOHNSON of Oakland, California and Mrs. ELNORA M. HARRISON of Chesapeake; 6 sons, JOHN M. BOWERS of New York, DONALD J. BOWERS of Franklin, KENNETH D. BOWERS of Ivor, CHARLES A. BOWERS of Richmond, PAUL H. BOWERS of Cleveland, Ohio and FRED H. BOWERS of Portsmouth; 32 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Thursday, January 16, 1975 at 1:00 pm in Campostella Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church by the Rev M. HAYDEN. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge. The body will remain in church from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
