Willie Alvin Adams, 65, of Athens, AL. died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born July 18, 1937, in Limestone County to Grady and Thelma Adams. He was a member of Cedar Grove Church of Christ. He was the father of the late Keith Adams and the brother of the late Buford Adams, Aubry Adams, Harrison Adams, Grady Adams Jr. and Beatrice Watts. Survivors include his wife, Margie Adams; four sons, Dwight Adams and Mikel Adams, both of Lexington, and Lloyd Adams and Norman Adams, both of Athens; six daughters, Deborah Ehrenburg of Huntsville, Sandra Yancey of Center Star, Minie Newman and Michelle Turner, both of Athens, Kim Gist of South Carolina and Monica Bennett of Killen; three brothers, Jerry Adams and Buddy Adams, both of Athens, and Morris Adams of Elkmont; five sisters, Cora Bell Pugh, Dorothy Vinson and Esther Barnett, all of Athens, Evelyn Gatlin of Greenbrier and Ruby Jane Haggermaker of Elkmont; 29 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery.
