Daniel Edward "Dusty" Adams born to Howard E. and Carolyn Adams on September 15, 1950 in Kingsville, Texas. He attended public schools in Corpus Christi, and was a proud Mary Carroll High School Tiger, after attending Texas A & I University in Kingsville and graduating from Britten Auction Academy, he entered the Auction profession with his father and served that profession well for over 43 years. He was a member of the National Auctioneers Assn. and was inducted into the Texas Auctioneers Assn. Hall of Fame in 1994.

Dusty was an avid sports fan all his life. He played softball 19 years and helped to manage the Corpus Christi Softball Assn. for many years. He lived and breathed Pittsburgh Steelers football.

Preceded in death by his father Howard "Frog" Adams.

Dusty is survived by wife Nancy of 41 years, three children, Greg Adams, of San Antonio, Texas, Jodi (Jesus) Adams of Corpus Christi, Texas, Lindsay (Rick) McMinn of Austin, Texas, three beautiful granddaughters, Jessica, Jordan, and Julia, mother Carolyn "Kelly" Adams, Jourdanton, Texas, sister Wendy (Tim) Gainan of Corpus Christi, Texas, sister-in-law, Barbara Behm of Corpus Christi, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Dusty was a long-time member of Parkdale Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years. He is currently an active attendee of Ekklesia Church.

In Lieu of Flowers the family requests donations be made to Ekklesia Church P.O Box 61258 Corpus Christi, Texas 78466, or a charity of your choice.

Memorial Service will be held at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel, Monday, January 23, 2012 at 2:00 P.M.
