DEATON Elifes "Red", 79, husband of Edna Deaton, died Thu, Jan 19, 2012 at Hospice Care Center. Born in Beattyville, he was a son of the late Bethel and Flossie Deaton. He was retired from the Lexington Fayette Urban Co. Government. Survivors other than his wife are his children, Delbert Deaton, Booneville, KY, Gary Deaton, Nicholasville, Rebecca (Billy) Garrett-Campbell, Louisville, Randall Deaton, Nicholasville, Lisa (Tracey) Lucas, Nicholasville, and Michelle (David) Peterson, Nicholasville; seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2pm Tue at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery.
