Brandi Lee (Bess) Walker 25, Kokomo, passed away at 12:15 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Brandi was born Dec. 30, 1986, to Criss A. Bess and Jacqueline J. Shanks. Her marriage to Kevin W. Walker, who survives, was on Sept. 14, 2005, in Kokomo. Brandi attended Kokomo High School and was an avid gymnast most of her childhood, reaching a level 9 at Kokomo Flipsters. She also worked at Yogi's Pizza.
Survivors include her husband, Kevin W. Walker; three children, Joseph A., Jocelyn L. and Treydon N. Walker; two brothers, Charles Lloyd and wife Lee, and Larry Lloyd and wife Amy; two sisters, Francis M. Satterfield and husband Johnny, and Crissta D. Bess; her parents, Criss A. Bess and Jacqueline J. Shanks; stepfather, Ray E. Shanks; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Betty J. Walker.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George Bess and Ida Fulk (Bess), and Joseph Jones and Marge Jones.
Visitation is 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ellers Mortuary, Main Street Chapel, 725 S. Main St. Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday also at the mortuary with Pastor Charlie Riley officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery
