ESTEN ROE PASSES
Funeral services for Esten Roe who died Tuesday at the Lutheran hospital in Bemidji at the age of 88, will be held on Friday this week at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Kelliher.
The aged man, for many years a resident of Shotley, was born in Norway February 16, 1855, and came to this country nearly 40 years ago. He is survived by two sons, Ole and Trygve, both of this place.

1940 Census: Esten Roe (87) born about 1853 in Norway, was widowed and living in Township 153 Range 30, Beltrami, Minnesota.
