Mr. Raymond Luther Catron, 61, of Brooklyn. N.Y., died Sunday, April 26, in New Jersey. He was the husband of Pearl Catron of Brooklyn.
Born March 2, 1926, in Bluefield, W. Va., Mr. Catron was a son of the late Martin Luther Catron and Nora Gates Catron, and stepson of Myrtle Marie Tibbs Williams.
Mr. Catron was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Surviving besides his wife and stepmother are two daughters, Anna Silver of Parlin, N.J., Iris Catron of Fort Catron, Junior Catron; four sisters, Dorothy Woods, Mildred Cullop. Jerlean Eader, Cathern Maus.
Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Thursday, April 30, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road. Barnesville. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, May 1, at the funeral home. The Rev. Jack Reynolds will officiate.
Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
