WARSAW -- Marjorie Carr Johnson of Warsaw passed away November 25, 2010, at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC. Mrs. Johnson was bom in Columbus County on December 15, 1927, to the late Joseph Lofton Carr and Estelle Strauss Carr.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Warsaw Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by sons, Charles Johnson and wife, Hollie, of Clayton, Steve Johnson and wife, Cheryl, of Greenville and Maurice Johnson of Smithfield; grandchildren, Haley Johnson Morgan and husband, Michael, Steven F. Johnson II, C. Lofton Johnson, Jr., Andrew Johnson; great grandchild, Benjamin Morgan.
Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by husband, Joseph Pendleton Johnson, brother, James Lofton Carr, and sisters, Margarette Carr Kornegay and Carolyn Carr Jones.
