Mrs. Addie J. Leach, 79, died at her home 427 Jones street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, October 29, following an illness of the past two months.
She was born in Boston township in 1857 and in 1893 she married Scott Leach in the home in which they have been living.
They lived on a farm for fifteen years in Ionia county and then moved back to their present home. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors are one nephew, John Leach, of Reading; three cousins, Miss Edith Rogers, of Lakeview; Dr. John Rogers, of California, and Mrs. R.A. Hackett, of Ionia.
Funeral services will be conducted at Boynton's chapel Thursday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Duffey officiating and interment at the family lot at Highland Park Cemetery.
