Robert O. Bias, was the son of Joseph Leroy and Grace (Roberts) Bias. He was a farmer who lived near Okeana at the time when, tragically, he was struck by an automobile. His injuries were so severe that, although he was taken to Cincinnati's St. Mary's hospital, recovery was impossible. Less than ten years before his death, Mr. Bias had been a part of the exciting 100th birthday celebration of his great-grandmother, Mary (George) DeArmond.
