Mr. William Russell Baker III, 15, of 18315 Comus Road, Dickerson, died suddenly
Saturday, Dec. 14, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.
He was the son of William Russell and Sherry K. McGraw Baker, Jr.
Mr. Baker was a member of the Poolesville junior varsity football team and attended Greenridge Baptist Church, where he was active in the Sunday school and youth group. He had a special love for fishing, hunting and the outdoors.
Surviving besides his parents are a sister, Stacie D. Baker of Comus; a brother, J. Wade Baker of Comus; maternal grandparents, William E. and Sylvia N. McGraw Jr. of Damascus; great-grandmother, Flora Whisman Hurtt of Florida; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind many friends.
Mr. Baker was preceded in death by paternal grandparents William R. and Viola E. Baker Sr.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, at Poolesville Baptist Church, West Willard and Wootton avenues, Poolesville. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Greenridge Baptist Church Youth Group, Md. 355, Germantown, Md.
