Ronnie Eugene Hess, age 49, of the Dry Fork section of Bandy, VA, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Richlands, VA and was the son of Myrtle Bostic Hess of Richlands, VA and the late Eugene Carson Hess.
Ronnie was a member of the United States National Guard. He was a lifelong resident of the Bandy area and was a coal miner.

Funeral services for Ronnie Eugene Hess will be conducted Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Jerry Welch officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be: Terry Byrd, Jason Byrd, Johnny Horton, Keyes Perkins, Bill White and Nathan Mitchell.
