Susan, 66, of Potterville, passed away January 20, 2012. Sue was the daughter of Cecil and Agnes (Davidson) Butler.

Sue graduated from Grand Ledge High School in 1963 and worked for A.E. Hoover in Charlotte for 16 years. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Potterville and had been actively involved with Friends of the Library in Potterville for many years.

Sue spent many hours volunteering her time and service to the community and loved spending time with her grand children.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, John Brandt; her two sons, John (Melissa) Brandt Jr. of Portland and Tony (Tina) Brandt of Charlotte; grandchildren Brianna, Auston and Haydin Brandt; and brother David Butler of Charlotte.

She was preceded in death by her brother Allen Butler, sister Eileen Stevens, and her mother Agnes Butler.

Memorial donations may be made to Eaton Community Hospice House.

The family will receive guests on Monday, January 23, 2012, at the Pray Funeral Home in Charlotte.
