Ames, Reginald, died June 29, 1977. Res. 739 E. Co. Rd. B, Little Canada. Survived by wife Frances Cookley (sic) Ames; sister Mrs. Arthur V. Olson (Mary Ames) of Lake Elmo, brother William Ames of Marine on the St. Croix. Internment Oakland Cemetery.

Reginald Ames
Funeral services for Reginald Ames, 62, former associate general council for Burlington Northern, Inc., will be held t 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Church, Little Canada.
Ames, from St. Paul, died Wednesday, of cancer. He retired as council to the railway company June 10.
In 1959, Ames was appointed assistant general solicitor for Northern Pacific Railway, one of three companies that later merged to form Burlington Northern, Inc. He was president of the Ramsey County Bar Association in 1964 and was a member of the board of governors of the Minnesota Bar Association.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Coakley Ames, former director of the Division of Family and Guardianship Services, Minnesota Dept. of Welfare; a sister, Mary Olsen, Lake Elmo, Minn.; and a brother, William Ames, Marine on St. Croix, Minn.
Burial at Oakland Cemetery, St. Paul, will follow the funeral services.
