Born in York, Maine, on May 28, 1929, she was a daughter of Walter and Alta (Adams) Schoppe. She attended local schools, graduating from R.W. Traip Academy.
She met and later married her loving husband of many years, Royce E. Clark, and together they made a home and raised their family in Kittery Point.
Mrs. Clark enjoyed many years of employment as an inspector at Data General. She enjoyed a day of yard sales or a game of bingo and was truly happy traveling anywhere in a car.
She leaves behind her loving family; a daughter, Martha Rogers of Kittery Point; sons, Lawrence (Larry) Clark of New Gloucester, Maine and Walter Clark of Kittery Point; her longtime companion, David Higgins; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Royce, and their daughter, Lois Clark.
