Mrs. Nina B. Grimes, of Johnsonville, passed away January 25, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 11, 1920 in Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Rush Barfield and the late Elizabeth Barfield.

Mrs. Grimes was a member of Johnsonville First Baptist Church and was retired from Wellman Industries.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, and quilting.

Mrs. Grimes was predeceased by her daughter, Nella Ray Stone; sisters, Vina Coker, Anzady Powell, Violia Springs, and Ether Coker; brothers, Jack Barfield and Dewey Barfield; and grandson-in-law, Scotty Morris.
