Johnsonville - Vera Florence Eaddy Altman, 77, died Thursday, July 10, 1997, at a Lake City hospital after an illness. She was born in Johnsonville, a daughter of the late Zeno Eaddy and the late Claudia Powell Eaddy Todd. She was the widow of William Altman. She was a graduate of Johnsonville High School. Mrs. Altman retired from Ken's True Value Store and was a member of the Westside Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a member of the ladies auxiliary. Survivors include a son, Jimmy Altman of Hemingway; a daughter, Judy Hanna of Johnsonville; a brother, Z.B. Eaddy of Rock Hill; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 tonight at Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Saturday at Westside Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will be in Garden of Devotion Cemetery.
