He retired as an attorney from Ameripride Services for over 35 years. He enjoyed golf, attending French class and perpetually studying the French language. He was a member and Past Secretary of the French Club and also a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church. Mr. Berry was also a veteran of the US Navy. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Kay, The Villages, FL; sons, James, Duluth, MN; Joel, Chicago, IL; and Bernard, III, Lakeville, MN; daughters, Carolyn, Washington, DC and Catherin, Andover, MN; five granddaughters, Caitlin, Minneapolis, MN; Kayla, Washington, DC; Siobhan, Omaha, NE; Kendra, Duluth, MN; Jordan, Lakeville, MN; and five grandsons, Sean, Seattle, WA; Liam, Lincoln, NE; Edward, Omaha, NE; Nikhil Berry Bando, Washington, DC; Brenden, Duluth, MN. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 24th at 8:30 a.m. at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Monday evening from 4-6 p.m. with a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services – The Villages. Inurnment will be in Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice. Arrangements by Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services – The Villages.
