World-renowned Creek Indian Artist who served with the U.S. Department of State as goodwill ambassador, using his art as a means of bridging the communications gap around the world. He also worked for the United States General Service Administration.

His artwork is exhibited in numerous museums in the United States and England. He has a painting that adorned the American Embassy Building in Madrid; and one that was at the home of Robert F. Kennedy.

He paintings are included in: "64 PICTURING TRADITIONAL CULTURE: HERITAGE AS SUBJECT AND MOTIVATION IN THE WORK OF THREE MUSCOGEE (CREEK) PAINTERS" by Jason Baird Jackson, which assesses the roles that three Oklahoma artists—Acee Blue Eagle, Fred Beaver and Solomon McCombs—played in the emergence of an early-twentieth-century fine arts movement known as the Traditional Oklahoma Flatstyle.
