Born September 11, 1887, in Pendleton County, she was a daughter of the late Watson and Della (Bland) Raines.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Propst, Franklin, and Mrs. Thelma Kerns, Bowden, W. Va.; a brother, Robert Raines, Riverton, W. Va.; four sisters, Mrs. Sadie Warner, Riverton; Mrs. Radie Huffman, Franklin, Mrs. R_ta, Nelson, Harrisonburg, and Mrs. Elihu Phillips, Bemis, W. Va.; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Nelson was a member of the Mennonite Church.
The body is at the Spiggle Funeral Home, Davis, where the family will receive friends until noon today when the body will be taken to the Lanesville Mennonite Church for services at 2 p.m.
Rev. Warren Kratz will officiate.
Burial will be in the Nelson Cemetery, Dry Fork.
