Bertha A. Horner of the Presidential Lakes section of Pemberton Township died Wednesday at her residence after a long illness, with her family at her side. She was 77.

She was a homemaker and blueberry grower, who loved to bake, cook, go to the casino, sing and play the guitar, and loved the color red.

'Berdie' is survived by her husband, Charles 'Frank'; a daughter, Ranae Parker of Tabernacle, a son, Charles 'Todd' and his wife, Anita, of Southampton; grandsons, Barry Parker Jr. (Marie) of Mount Laurel, Shawn Parker (Ashley) of Shamong, Charles 'Chuck' Parker III, Jacob 'Jake' Horner and Mark Horner, all of Southampton; great-grandsons, Nicholas Parker of Mt. Laurel, and Brody Parker of Shamong. She also is survived by a special cousin, Charles 'Bubby' Parks of Presidential Lakes; a sister, Arlene Heston of Southampton; and several nieces, nephews and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Edna Mingin Bozarth; and her sisters, Beulah (Buck) Shearer and Lillian (Lil) Loveland. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Precious, Gizmo, Billy and Sonny.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High St., Mount Holly, where friends may call from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Junior Mechanics Cemetery, Tabernacle.
