Joseph S. Stateler, 55, of Rockport died at 1 A.M. Wednesday at his home. Surviving are his wife, Zella; a son, Norman of Rockport; two daughters, Mrs. Marva Davis of Germany, and Mrs. Randall Schumacher of Rockport; his father, Vernie Stateler of Rockport; a brother, Robert of Rockport; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Robinson and Mrs. Vernell Wood, both of Rockport, and Mrs. Josephine Brown of Evansville; and six grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at Boultinghouse Funeral Home where friends may call after noon Friday.
