He was preceeded in death by his daughter Patricia in 1979, his mother Thelma Whitney and step father Howard Whitney.
He leaves Mike (son) and Stacey Abbott and the joys of his life, his grandchildren Branden, Jason and Lauryn. He also leaves his good friend and former wife Fran Abbott. Dewey will also be missed by many good friends.
