Mr. Kenyon was a lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, NY and attended local schools. David graduated from Niagara Falls High School in 1949. He also attended Niagara University. Mr. Kenyon earned both his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from Albany State College for Teachers. David served in the United States Air Force, during the Korean War, as a Trained Radio Operator, from October 21, 1951 until his honorable discharge on October 23, 1955. He taught History and Social Studies at Hammondsport Central School in Hammondsport, NY and Gaskill Junior High School in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Kenyon retired in 1986. David was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Niagara Falls, NY, the American Legion Post #1465, VFW Post #412, Old Fort Niagara Association, Niagara Falls Teachers Retirees and the New York State Historical Association. For many years, he served as a volunteer at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
Mr. Kenyon is survived by one brother, Robert S. (late Lois) Kenyon of Rochester, NY; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, David was predeceased by one sister, Ruth Elizabeth (Richard of Rolla, MO) Brow.
