Brandon L. Little, 19, entered into God's eternal care on Wednesday, January 18, 2012, in Abbottstown, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident while responding to a fire. He was born September 29, 1992, in Hanover, the son of Keith E. and Nancy L. (Stremmel) Little of Abbottstown. He attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Abbottstown, was baptized at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Hanover, and was a 2010 graduate of New Oxford High School. Brandon's dream was to become a full-time firefighter, and he recently received his certification in Firefighter 1. He was an active volunteer with United Hook & Ladder #33, and was a member at Gold's Gym. He was employed by Jenco Micro Edge, Inc. in Thomasville. In addition to his parents, Brandon is survived a brother, Shawn E. Little of Abbottstown; his little sis, Alexis Kellison of Hanover; his baby brother, Walker Schrumm of Abbottstown; his faithful dog, Hershey; paternal grandparents and godfather, Lester and Marie Little of Hanover; godmother, Pam McMaster of Wichita, Kan.; confirmation sponsor, Joseph Wolfe; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, George and Eileen Stremmel; and a cousin, Nicole Stremmel. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 23, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 6084 W. Canal Road, Abbottstown, with Father Kenneth Smith and the Rev. Shawn Berkebile officiating. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover.
