Adolph G. Hudec,82,of Weimar,TX died peacefully at home after a long illness on April 5,2002.

He served in the Normandy Invasion,as a staff sergeant of the 90th Infantry Division and was awarded a Purple Heart.He worked for Mission Manufacturing for 30 years in Houston.Then worked for Colorado County in Weimar until retirement.His greatest pleasures were raising cattle,and riding his four-wheeler with his grandchildren.

A rosary will be held on Saturday,April 6,2002 at 7 p.m. at the Hubbard Funeral Home in Weimar,TX.The funeral mass will be on Sunday,April 7,2002 at 2 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Weimar.Memorials can be made to St. Michael's Endowment Fund,Weimar,TX.
