RITES HELD FOR MISS PAULA TATE

Funeral services for Miss Paula Aryll Tate, 17, Underwood, were held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, April 5, at Gardner's Chapel, White Salmon. Rev. Roger L. Clevenger, of Bethel Congregational Church, officiated. Burial was in the family plot, at Mt. View Cemetery, Walla Walla, on Wednesday.

Paula was born Dec 11, 1942, in The Dalles, Oregon, and died in a Portland hospital, Monday, April 1, from injuries received in an auto accident.

She was a Junior at Columbia High School, a member of Theta Rho and a former Rainbow Girl.

Survivors include her parents, Paul R. Tate and Virginia Sooter Tate, of Underwood; brothers: Daniel (Danny), and William; sisters: Karol, Judy, and Victoria; grandparents, Mrs. Elva Sooter of Underwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Tate of Washougal. Also, great grandmother, Mrs. Margaret Skeen of Walla Walla; uncles: Howard Sooter and son, Elbert; and John Tate; and a great aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Sooter, Underwood.
