FRANK ALBERT LAID TO REST Died at His Home Here Last Thursday Night; Was Maple Grove Farmer Until Retirement
Funeral services for Frank C. Albert, 74, longtime Maple Grove township farmer, who died Thursday evening at his home in Chesaning, took place at 9 A.M. Monday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church with Rev. Fr. J.F. Grinzinger officiating. Burial was in Maple Grove cemetery. Mr. Albert was born May 2, 1872 in Alpin (Kent County), Michigan and attended schools in Grand Rapids and Maple Grove. He farmed in Maple Grove until three years ago, when he retired and moved to Chesaning. His first wife, nee Elizabeth Princinski died in 1909 and on February 18, 1910, he married Miss Mary Amman at Maple Grove. He leaves besides his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Gross and Mrs. Edward Birchmeier of Maple Grove, and Mrs. George Gosma of Mt. Pleasant; two sons, Frank Jr. and Arthur of Maple Grove; a sister, Mrs. Carl Drexler of Chesaning and 33 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Maple Grove Chatholic church and the Holy Name Society.
