Margarett Alexander FREEMAN was born July 18, 1910 in Wetumka. She died November 12, 1984, in Tulsa. Wake services conducted by William ALEXANDER and Willie GOODIN were held November 14 , followed by funeral services officiated by Thomas LONG and Patrick FREEMAN on November 14. Both services were at the Newtown United Methodist Church, where she was a member. Pallbearers were Richard FREEMAN, Patrick FREEMAN, Jesse FREEMAN, Jr., Ted FREEMAN and Bill FREEMAN. Interment was in the Okmulgee Cemetery.
She was a member of the United Methodist Women and past president of the Oklahoma Indian Women's Conference.
In addition to her eight children, 24 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren named in her husband's obituary, her other survivors include her two brothers, William ALEXANDER of Oakhurst and George (Toby) ALEXANDER of Lamar; and a half brother, Henry HARJO of Wichita, KS.
