W. L. DOWDING Dead at 61.

WALTER L. DOWDING 61, died yesterday afternoon at his home on State St., Phoenix.

He was born at Tully July 13, 1886, and was a member of the Plymouth Congregational Church of Syracuse and of the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leila Frazier Dowding; two sons, Robert and Harold Dowding, both of Syracuse; three daughters, Mrs. Grace young of Syracuse, Mrs Florence Patterson of Phoenix and Mrs. James Davies of Central Square, 11 grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Snyder of Syracuse and Mrs. Edward Seaman of Cortland.

Friends may call today at the Allanson funeral home in Phoenix and tomorrow afternoon and evening at the Schumacher & Mason memorial home in Syracuse. Funeral services will take place at the Schumacher & Mason home at 2 PM Monday, with the Rev. A. A. Childs, pastor of the Phoenix Methodist Church Officiating.
