"David Victor (Pat) Abbott, lifelong resident of Union Bridge, husband of Mrs. Gladys Yingling Abbott, died at his home Saturday, July 5, 1952, after an extended illness. He was 45. Born in Hagerstown, a son of the late George W. and Rebecca Ann Gosnell Abbott, he was a commercial bookkeeper. Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Marian Patricia, at home; two brothers, Walter and Carl Abbott; and two sisters, Mrs. Lola Cartzendafner and Miss Reba Abbott.
